Drill pipes (rods)

 

Drill pipes (drill rods) are produced with tripple protection:

1) Overlapping conical joint between the drill pipe (drill rod) and coupling

2) Arc welding followed by heat treatment procedure, which normalizes the welding area in the coupler's side of the drilling pipe.

3) Restructurization of the drilling pipe's  tube side welding distortions

 

This is the only one technology covered by the insurrance, if drill pipes (drill rods) fail during the geological drilling procedure!

Drill pipes' threads overlap, creating the big surface contact area and high thread friction forces.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Drill pipes' tubes and couples are welded in modified gas atmosphere using special high purity welding material.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Immediately after welding, drill pipes (drill rods) are tempered in the computer controlled heat treatment furnace, making them crack proof on the coupler's side.
